Story School Board Member 

• The Story School, home to the immersive, interactive, and inclusive eduLARP Camp FABLE and Camp Grimoire, is seeking volunteer leaders to join its dynamic board of directors. This is a virtual position, and we are open to in-state and out-of-state applicants.

• Board members are actively involved in organizational governance. They are expected to attend at least 5 of the bi-monthly board meetings, including our annual meeting in the first quarter of the year, and actively participate in at least one board committee.

• You can expect between 20 - 40 hours over the course of the year. Meetings are conducted virtually and currently held on the first Tuesday of the month from 7pm - 8:30pm.

• Based on our recent review of board skills, connections, and live experiences among current Board members, we are seeking new Board members to broaden our current Board. For this reason, we encourage applications from those with the following areas of experience/expertise:

  • Business management

  • Marketing

  • Fundraising

  • Legal

  • Summer camp operation

  • And connections to local foundations, cultural organizations, Trans and Gender Nonbinary Communities, and BIPOC Communities.
